CoreWeave is an example of a company you DON'T want to invest into. For an experienced investor, the warning signs are easy to spot. For example, when we look at the business itself, we ask ourselves 3 questions: 1) Can it raise prices without losing customers? 2) Does it own something competitors can’t easily copy? 3) And can it survive on its OWN cash without constantly needing lenders? That last question is what CoreWeave doesn't pass. It's heavily indebted neocloud companies that become vulnerable when borrowing gets more expensive. That's most likely why its stock had fallen 25%, insiders had sold $3.3 BILLION since the IPO, and has roughly 3 months of cash left. That’s why you don’t just invest in any AI company like CoreWeave. You must evaluate whether the BUSINESS can survive when money gets cheap & borrowing costs rise.
